Alexander Murray Royal Brackla 2007
Founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser, Brackla Distillery is a Highland Scotch whisky distillery on the Cawdor Estate, near Nairn in Scotland. Brackla whisky was selected by King William IV to be his whisky at the Royal Court, and to this is just one of three distilleries to bear the ‘Royal’ name. The profile of the whisky produced at Brackla is fresh and fruity, which is the predominant character to be found in a glass of this expression. Matured for 13 years in refill Bourbon Hogsheads, gentle fruity notes combine in a fresh, citrussy delivery. A delightful and regal whisky indeed.
