Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Westward Whiskey in Portland, Oregon. Westward has pushed the boundaries of craft spirits for almost two decades. With a deep commitment to creativity, innovation, and collaboration, Westward has created a new style of American single malt built on the brewing culture of the Pacific Northwest.

This straight malt whiskey is made from 90% two-row malted barley and 10% malted rye, an unusual experimental mash bill. It was aged for 5 years in a new American oak barrel. With lots of grain spice, French vanilla, and a rich maltiness, it reminds us of root beer barrel candy.
