New England Barrel Company The Cut Straight Bourbon

“The Cut” is a special project that started Day 1 at New England Barrel Company. Each barrel used in our Small Batch Select Bourbon (Batch 2021-01 through 2021-04) rested once emptied – allowing the wood to relax and release the bourbon absorbed by the barrel itself. These barrels were then emptied a second time, the bourbon collected, and placed into an empty bourbon barrel where it was allowed to marry. The resulting whiskey is a unique, small batch of cask strength, Kentucky Bourbon.
