1957 OMEGA SPEEDMASTER BROAD ARROW WATCH

After selling for well over its estimated price, this 1957 Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow has become the most expensive timepiece in the watchmaker’s history. The reference 2915-1 is a historically significant model, being the first chronograph to feature a tachymeter scale on the bezel. Made for just two years, it includes a 38mm stainless case with Speedmaster engraved on its slated edge and a tropical dial that’s aged to a chocolate brown. The luminous material on the signature Broad Arrow hand has taken on a golden hue, while the oval “O” Omega logo and a metal bezel add to the watch’s unique elements. With its distinctive features and beautiful patina, it’s no surprise this holy grail Speedmaster is now the priciest piece in the archives.
