In the 1962 film The Great Escape film icon Steve McQueen famously rode a Triumph TR6 in the escape scene from a German POW camp — disguised as a BMW motorcycle in the movie. 60 years later, Triumph’s Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen edition adds some retro-inspired touches to the modern-day heir of the original TR6. An exclusive competition green colorway is set off by brushed aluminum parts like the knee inserts and tank strap. A vintage Triumph logo in gold and brown suede leather skateboard seat complete the look. The Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen is limited to 1,000 units worldwide, and each one comes with a certificate signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor and Steve McQueen’s son Chad McQueen.
