Alfa Romeo is expanding its lineup in the US with the new Tonale small SUV. The Tonale will arrive will two powertrains and standard all-wheel-drive. The first is a plug-in hybrid, making 272 horsepower combined from a 1.3-liter inline-four and electric motor mated to a six-speed automatic, with a fully-electric range of 30 miles. The Q4 AWD uses a 2-liter four making 256 horsepower with a nine-speed automatic, with no high-performance Quadrifoglio version slated for now. Each Tonale will also come with an NFT, a digital certificate that will also store all matinence related information for the SUV. The Tonale will arrive in dealers in the first quarter of 2023.
