Using underwater robots, Teleportal lets anyone swim through Australia’s natural wonder from the comfort of their homes. Users can just log into the online portal and use their keyboards to take the remote-controlled androids for a spin around the reef. The bot will capture live video with its wide-angle 1080p camera and stream it to computer screens. With integrated AI sonar obstacle avoidance, the fragile ecosystems are safe from damage, while LED spotlights allow for nighttime dives.
