Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing specializes in hulking, end times-ready off-road machines. Their latest creation is the Dark Horse, a modern six-wheel-drive Ford Bronco. Apart from the obvious addition of the extra axle and extended bodywork, the exterior also features a new front bumper, a four-inch suspension lift to create added ground clearance and room for the 37-inch tires, and a revised roof panel. Under the hood, they’ve boosted the twin-turbo V6’s output to 400hp, with a combination of software, boost increase, and new injectors and exhaust. The interior also sees some modest upgrades, with reupholstered seats in black and brown marine-grade leather. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the inaugural build is expected to debut at Barrett Jackson’s Palm Beach auction on April 9th.
