Below a residence in the forest of Mexico, Andre Restelli’s Cava House inserts a wine room into the boulders of a subterranean cave below a modern abode. The basement level utilizes the natural formations of the underground chamber to house a collection of bottles, with the shelves, tasting counter, and steps integrated into the existing bedrock. To continue the monolithic atmosphere, four massive stones were transformed into furniture around the fireplace in the main living area.
