BMW IX M60 ELECTRIC SUV

BMW’s range-topping iX crossover is getting the first purpose-built electric M model with the iX M60. The iX M60 promises to bring the driving dynamics of the M badge to EVs, with 610 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. Range is estimated at 280 miles, with a 3.6 second 0-60 sprint and an electronically-limited 155 MPH top speed. Front and rear air suspension receive M-specific tuning, with a stiffer aluminum frame and composite carbon fiber reinforced panels helping to offset the weight of the electric drivetrain. The iX M60 is slated for a June 2022 global launch.
