Andrea Radaelli of Radikal Chopper started the design for this custom BMW R 18 the old-fashioned way — with pen and paper. That first step started what would become an almost completely hand-built project, the R 18 Magnifica. Radaelli took inspiration from BMW bikes of the 1930s and ’40s, with the R37 especially serving as a muse for the project. From hand-machined aluminum to hand-formed wood on the seat and grips, the R 18 Magnifica is a celebration of old-world craftsmanship.
