Based in Slovenia, Flux Performance is leveraging the advantages of electric powertrains for the Primo, the company’s first offering. The Primo will be offered in off-road, dual-sport, and supermoto trims, loaded with a KYB fork and Ohlins TTX shock. Power is provided by an electric motor mounted in the frame, with a geared reduction system and what Flux bills as a virtual clutch system — a software control that mimics the slipping action of a mechanical clutch. Power figures are 85 peak horsepower and a massive 553 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum frame holds said motor and a 6.7kWh, 400V swappable battery in a waterproof housing, along with a custom-designed swingarm. Flux plans to start production in 2023, with deliveries beginning in 2024. Preorders are available now, with no word on final pricing or full specs as yet.
