New from award-winning Hangar 1 Vodka comes Smoke Point – their latest experiment in terroir and sustainability.
Hangar 1 has partnered with the Crimson Wine Group on the limited-edition bottling of Smoke Point, the first vodka distilled using smoke-tinged California Malbec and Merlot grapes from California wildfires. After the 2020 Glass Fire swept through Northern California, these two brands wanted to come together and give back to the local community. To recognize this special collaboration, all proceeds will be donated to the California Fire Foundation.
Smoke Point Vodka carries an unexpected flavor profile: clean, floral aromas on the nose, and fruity, subtly sweet, vanilla, licorice, and butterscotch notes on the palate, with a peppery, allspice finish.
