HENNESSEY MAMMOTH 1000 SUV

Chrysler finally gave us a full-size, three-row SUV with the Jeep Wagoneer, but the question remains: Why they didn’t choose to use the Ram’s handsome face instead? Hennessey has seen the obvious mistake and chose to rectify it with the Mammoth 1000, a Ram TRX-based SUV with custom bodywork that replaces the pickup bed. New custom-fabbed sheet metal encloses the bed, and the interior has been redone with luxurious appointments. Under the hood is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 making 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque, propelling the massive truck from 0-60 in a supercar-like 3.2 seconds. Only 20 units of the SUV Chrysler should have made will be produced, each one with a 36,000-mile, three-year warranty.
