No one has sold more motorcycles than Honda, with nearly 20 million sold across the world in 2020 alone. The secret is that the majority of those are small bikes, and Honda is bringing back one of its classic nameplates for 2023. The S125 Dax is based on the 1969 original, with a pressed steel frame and 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor making 9.3 horsepower. Coupled to a four-speed transmission, that makes the Dax good for a top speed of 55 MPH, and features like a modern fork and rear shocks mean the new Dax won’t ride like the 50-plus-year-old model. The new Dax comes with an LCD dash, LED lights, and chrome fenders over 12-inch wheels. The Dax is slated for a European-exclusive launch, with no word on whether the minibike might be coming to the US.
