HONDA SCRAMBLER REVIVAL

The scrambler, as much as it can be defined, is traditionally a small-displacement single or twin-cylinder motorcycle with an upright riding position, dual-purpose tires, and just the bare essentials needed to ride. Designer Leo Porfirio’s Honda Scrambler Revival acknowledges that tradition without being confined by it, taking the classic scrambler cues and updating them in a modern package. Porfirio’s design uses a twin-spar cradle frame, single-sided swingarm, and USD fork together with a liquid-cooled inline-four motor. Elements like a small gas tank, side plates that aid in airflow, and upturned cowl with skateboard seat are a nod to scramblers of the past. Topped with several different liveries, Porfirio’s scrambler is a true modern revival.
