Husqvarna is taking its first step into the electric motorcycles with the E-Pilen, based on its popular Vitpilen and Svartpilen street bikes. Details are sparse, but Husqvarna puts the E-Pilen at 11 horsepower and 62 miles of range — underwhelming numbers, but this is a concept. The E-Pilen uses a modular, swappable battery system, although Husqvarna isn’t ruling out a fixed battery either. Aimed specifically at urban commuting, the stylish lines of the Vitpilen make it a perfect platform for going electric.
