In September, the first all-civilian crew will launch from the Kennedy Space Center and begin a multi-day journey through low-earth orbit. IWC is outfitting the four members in special edition watches to be worn during their mission. The Inspiration4 Pilot’s Watch features a white ceramic case with a matching rubber and leather strap. Powered by a chronograph movement, its dark blue dial is padprinted with a constellation of stars and finished with the Inspiration4 logo. Each case back will be engraved with the name and mission values of the individual crew member that wears it. After the mission, the watches will be auctioned off to help the effort to raise $100 million for St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
