JEEP WRANGLER XTREME RECON PACKAGE

When Ford announced the new Bronco’s Sasquatch package, it was only a matter of time before Jeep issued a response. It’s arrived in the form of the Wrangler Xtreme Recon. Available on both Rubicon 4-door and Rubicon 392 models, it includes 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, 17-inch by 8-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56:1 axle ratio, and a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks. All these upgrades unlock an approach angle of 47.4º, a breakover angle of 26.7º, a departure angle of 40.4º, 12.9″ of ground clearance, and the ability to ford water up to 33.6″ deep, making it possibly the most capable off-the-lot 4×4 available. A special 4.88:1 axle ratio will also be available later this year, giving it a best-in-class 100:1 crawl ratio.
