LOTUS EMIRA GT4 RACE CAR CONCEPT

Lotus is signing its farewell letter to the internal combustion engine with the Emira GT4 race car, the ultimate version of their final gasoline-powered production model. Powered by a supercharged 3.5-liter Toyota V6, the Emira GT4 will make 400 horsepower, backed by a paddle-shifted xTrac transmission. A front and rear double-wishbone suspension use bespoke Ohlins dampers and wind tunnel tested aerodynamics for the exceptional handling that is Lotus’ hallmark. The driver will be able to view every performance metric and sensor input thanks to a digital Motec dash display, while an FIA-approved roll cage and fuel cell make the Emira GT4 race-ready. The Emira GT4 will debut in 2022, with production taking place on a per-order basis.
