Maybach is turning 100, and Mercedes is marking the event with the Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100. Based on the S-Class, the Edition 100 is powered by Mercedes’ sublime 621 horsepower V12 — in what might be its swang song as the move to EVs continues. A seven-inch longer wheelbase is devoted to the rear passengers, with a noise insulated compartment, LED displays, Burnmester 4D sound system, and seats with heat and massage functions. The exterior comes in a formal Cirrus Silver Nautical Blue colorway over a MANUFAKTUR Crystal White and Silver Grey Pearl leather interior. The Edition 100 arrives in the first half of 2022.
