Black Bull 12 Year Old

Our 12 year old, charges at you and shakes you up a bit, but then leaves you with a realisation that this is what blended Scotch whisky should actually be like, a bit of rough and tumble with a silky smooth ending. We take robust and rich highland and speyside malt whiskies, matured in refill ex-sherry European Oak butts and refill ex-bourbon American Oak hogsheads, and blend them together with lowland grain, matured in refill ex-bourbon American Oak barrels, in a ratio of 50% malt to 50% grain and bottled at a powerful 50% abv to give you the ride of your life. Grab it by the horns, hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
