New Riff Yellow Leaming Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon

In 1826, Christopher Leaming traded for a yellow dent corn only miles from New Riff Distilling, along the Ohio river, and “…off a flatboat at Columbia, Hamilton County, Ohio,” Originally cultivated by the Native Peoples in our region, Yellow Leaming became one of the most important corn in American history – providing the basis for modern American yellow dent corn. Today it provides an extra deep base for our high-rye recipe Bourbon, part of our ongoing exploration of regional heirloom grains.
