World Whisky Society Japanese Single Malt Finished in Bourbon and Port Ruby Casks

This year, WWS is partnering with Chip Tate to create unprecedented Japanese single malt finished in bourbon and Port Ruby barrels.

Before Chip Tate went into distilling in 2008, he mastered many skills that would help him create some of the finest distillate this country has ever seen. Chip is a man of innovation and an icon in the world of single malt whisky.

This Limited-Release Whisky brings together Chip Tate’s unique whisky sensibility to pair Japanese single malt whisky with select bourbon and Port Ruby barrels and WWS’s renowned finishing methods to create a one-of-a-kind Japanese single malt.
