SPACE PERSPECTIVE BALLOON SPACEFLIGHTS

After introducing the Neptune Space Balloon last June, Space Perspective has begun taking reservations for its first flight. Starting in 2024, the pressurized capsule will take eight people on a luxury ride to the stratosphere. The six-hour journey launches from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center with a slow climb to 100,000 feet off the ground. As they’re floating on the edge of space, guests can watch the sunrise and gaze at our home planet from the 360-degree window, while lounging in reclining seats and enjoying the onboard refreshments bar. The grand finale is a decent back to Earth with an ocean landing, where passengers will board a ship and head to shore.
