The Last Drop XIX Buffalo Trace 1980

For their 19th release, The Last Drop Distillers will be sourcing Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that was distilled at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in 1980. It matured in virgin American oak for nearly 20 years and then lay sleeping in a corner of the distillery until The Last Drop Distillers discovered the parcel which now makes up a rare and irreplaceable release.

“Our nineteenth release is our second bourbon whiskey, another sumptuous treat from the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery, the longest continuously operating distillery in the USA. This is a unique release, comprising only 240 bottles: It was distilled in 1980, and lay maturing in Virgin American Oak for many years until it was deemed to have reached perfection.”

Tasting Notes:
The colour is a rich golden mahogany, and the taste takes us through a symphony of harmonious flavours. It is truly a memorable and extraordinary experience from the last drops of the past. One to savor and share.
