THE REEFLINE UNDERWATER SCULPTURE PARK

With its arts districts, internationally acclaimed shows, and galleries and museums, Miami has long been a top destination for art enthusiasts. Now, the coastal metropolis is adding to its credentials with the Reefline. Developed by BlueLab Preservation Society, the project is an environmentally-focused sculpture park placed below the surface of South Beach. The park will stretch seven miles up the coast and feature pieces from prominent international artists and designers placed 15-20 feet underwater. Not only will the park be an attraction for art lovers from all over the world, but it will also become an artificial reef, providing habitats for endangered reef organisms. Phase one of the project is slated to open in December 2021.
