Wild Turkey is gearing up for the fifth release in their Master’s Keep series. Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Bottled In Bond 17 Year Old is bottled at 100 proof with Notes of toasted oak, dark cherries, vanilla, toffee, spice and hints of smoke.
With the Master’s Keep series, Eddie has pushed the boundaries on the age limits of Bourbon, producing some of the oldest whiskeys Wild Turkey has ever released. The first launch of the series, Master’s Keep, was a 17-year-old bourbon aged in stone and wooden warehouses. Now with the release of Bottled In Bond, Master’s Keep once again bears the age statement of 17 years.
“With our own Master’s Keep Bottled In Bond, we took the historic process and protocol of aging for four years to the next level and allowed the liquid to rest for 17 years,” said Eddie Russell, Master Distiller at Wild Turkey. “We aged and perfected this rare, 17-year-old bourbon in Wild Turkey’s Camp Nelson rickhouses. This expression is a nod to the past, both our own heritage and the heritage of American whiskey-making as a craft.”
Master’s Keep Bottled is a limited release with 14,400 bottles available for purchase for a suggested retail price of $175.00 per 750 mL bottle.
