BMW designed the R18 to be customized and wants builders and owners to truly make the bike their own. Based in Russia, Zillers Garage took BMW’s message to heart, creating an art-deco-inspired R 18 that is nearly unrecognizable compared to the base bike. The only hint at its beginnings is the iconic BMW boxer twin engine, with the heads poking out from the flowing side covers. Zillers achieved the ultra-low stance by using air suspension to lower the bike at rest, and a pair of spikes hold the bike up instead of a kickstand. The bodywork is hand-formed from carbon fiber, and Zillers will either build or sell the enitre package in kit form, limited to 13 units.
