Cadillac’s first electric vehicle, the Lyriq, will be coming just over a year from now as a 2023 model. Built on GM’s Ultium EV platform that it shares with the re-launched Hummer, the Lyriq will come in a rear-wheel-drive configuration with 340 horsepower and over 300 miles of range on a full charge. Charging times of 10 minutes to 76 miles are available with 190 kW DC fast charging, while a 19.2 kW home charging module will also be available. Step inside and you’ll find a 33-inch display, a 19-speaker AKG sound system with active noise cancellation, and Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free driving tech. Pre-orders start in September 2021.
