The A-frame rose to fame in the mid-century thanks to its simple, geometric form. Designer and 3D artist Amin Moazzen amps up the basic silhouette with the Cabin of Hope. The waterfront retreat imagines three A-frames connected by three tiers of wooden planes. Their triangular form is accentuated with LED lights and reflects off the water’s surface. Full walls of glazing keep the interior connected to the rugged setting while living spaces seamlessly flow to the multi-level terrace. Mounted on a floating platform, the lower level expands to a swim platform and dock, while the cantilevered second story provides shelter for an expansive outdoor living area.
