Porsche is readying a new Macan for a 2023 launch as an electric vehicle. Currently undergoing real-world testing, the small SUV will use the 800-volt drivetrain used by the Taycan. Porsche plans for the Macan to cover nearly two million miles around the world, in addition to several million miles of virtual testing. Ahead of the electric model, Porsche will launch a new Macan powered by a conventional gasoline engine later in 2021.
