Not even Dodge can deny the inexorable move towards electric cars and has finally capitulated with the announcement of their first electric vehicle. Set for production in 2024, the as-yet-unnamed vehicle will be an electric muscle car, based on parent company Stellantis’ STLA Large EV platform. The since-removed video shows a design heavily based on the 1969-1970 Dodge Charger, with a fastback body style and LED strip lighting around the rectangular grille opening and a return the tri-point Dodge emblem. Dodge claimed over 800 horsepower was possible from dual electric motors, along with 500 miles of range and a 0-60 time of fewer than three seconds.
