The Valhalla — Aston Martin’s first serial production mid-engine supercar — is finally here. The stablemate to Aston Martin’s Valkyrie hypercar, the Valhalla uses a highly-modified AMG Black hybrid drivetrain, comprised of a flat-plane crank V8 and two electric motors. Total output for the system is 937 horsepower, good for a 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 MPH. Active all-wheel-drive can put up to 100% of the electric motors’ output to either the front or rear axle. An active damper system was developed by Multimatic, with chassis and aerodynamic design input by the Red Bull F1 team and legendary engineer Adrian Newey.
