Located in the Garment District, Ace Hotel Toronto marks the brand’s first Canadian outpost. The downtown venue was built from the group up using a design by Shim-Sutcliffe Architects. As guests enter the red brick exterior, they’re greeted by a series of monolithic concrete arches and a suspended lobby serving craft cocktails and small plates. For a more formal dining experience, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant from chef Patrick Kriss is situated below, while a rooftop bar offers sweeping views of the city. The property offers 123 rooms, running from small to large options. Each one gives off retro vibes with vintage tile walls, warm wood accents, and custom furnishings. As an homage to the city, original pieces from local artists are featured throughout, including a three-story installation in the lobby.
