Truly autonomous travel is going to require a re-imagining of automotive interiors. Audi is taking steps in that direction with the Grandsphere concept. The four-door vehicle offers Level 4 automated driving, and thus a cabin free from wheels, pedals, or displays. Likened to a first-class airline experience, it would offer plenty of counter-like space on which to work, as well as an airy cabin that beckons riders to relax and simply enjoy the passing views.
