Audi won its first rally with the hybrid RS Q e-tron this past March in Abu Dhabi. Not content to rest on its laurels, Audi is introducing the next evolution of the rally car, improved with lessons learned from that first win. The RS Q e-tron E2 sports an all-new body with improved aerodynamics and a wider cockpit. The drivetrain has been optimized to more efficiently comply with FIA regulations on excess energy being sent to the wheels, especially when the car is in the air or on uneven terrain. New 10-spoke Rotoform wheels are designed to be easier to handle during tire changes, and weight has been further reduced thanks to composite materials. The RS Q e-tron E2 will make its competition debut at Rally du Maroc in Morrocco October 1, 2022.
