Merging modern materials with traditional construction, the Heritage 9.9 from Castagnola Yacht works as both a short-range cruiser and a tender for larger vessels. At the heart of the design is a traditional wooden deep-V hull that’s coated in a thin layer of epoxy-infused carbon fiber that makes it both easier to maintain and quieter on the water. Above deck, the wood provides a luxurious atmosphere, with generous lounging pads and an aft swimming platform, while below there’s a single cabin, bathroom, and small galley kitchen.
