Designed by Oppenheim Architecture, the Desert Rock Resort tucks guests in the granite mountains of Saudi Arabia. The hotel project is part of the Red Sea Project and consists of 48 villas and 12 suites embedded into the contours of the towering rock formations. Its unique design causes little disruption to the natural landscape while minimizing light pollution. Accommodation will range from ground-floor rooms to peak-level suites with sweeping views across the desert and come with amenities that include a spa, fitness center, picturesque dining experiences, and a lagoon oasis. Desert Rock Resort expects to begin welcoming visitors in 2023.
