GLEN ELLEN HILLSIDE HOUSE

Situated on a 15-acre hillside overlooking Sonoma Valley, this house in Glen Ellen is the essence of rustic refinement. Its exterior features a modern farmhouse aesthetic with a neutral marble-finished stucco and natural wood exterior, topped with a standing seam metal roof. The soft tones continue of the interior with white-washed cedar ceilings, wide plank French White Oak floors, and white walls, while its airy atmosphere is accentuated by the warmth of natural light brought in by Fleetwood doors and windows. Throughout the 5,900 square foot residence are four bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen with a butler’s pantry that includes a 138-bottle wine refrigerator, a media room, a sauna, and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar. To take advantage of the California scenery, there are a pair of terraces off the rear of the house, along with a saltwater pool, spa, and gas fire pit.
