When Gorm Taube bought this Honda NX650 Dominator in 2015, the goal wasn’t to create a custom bike — it was to ride it while another project was completed. The other project never came to fruition, and the Dominator became the focus. Five years later, it’s complete — at least in its current revision. Keeping with the Dominator’s utilitarian lines, the mods are all practical while adding to the look. An aftermarket ECU has been installed, along with a Yoshimura slip-on exhaust to get the most out of the single-lunger. The front fairing and square headlight were removed in favor of a classic round unit, along with digital instrumentation, low-profile LED indicators, and custom mounts for saddlebags.
