Inspired by the vernacular architecture of Mani, the Monolithoi House offers a modern interpretation of the area’s ancient tower houses. The complex is formed by two stone monoliths situated among the rugged landscape. Natural materials blend the exterior into its surroundings and create light, neutral living spaces on the inside. The interior maintains a strong connection to nature using large panels of glass, while wooden shades slide over the glazing to provide shade and privacy when needed. To encourage outdoor living, pergolas, meditation corners, and infinity pools surround the perimeter, affording expansive views over the sea.
