Fran Silvestre Arquitectos’ NIU series delivers a collection of minimalist dwellings aimed at emphasizing quality at a more accessible price. The Spanish studio recently unveiled its most compact offering the N70. The modest home separates its interior between day and night, with a kitchen, living, and dining area on one end and the bedroom on the other. Housed in a sleek, rectangular volume, the modest home separates its interior between day and night, with a kitchen, living, and dining area on one end and the bedroom on the other. The main living spaces are flanked on both sides by floor-to-ceiling glazing, creating a light-airy atmosphere and connecting the indoors to the terrace. The bedroom is closed off from the swimming pool but opens up to the outdoors through a glazed facade on the rear elevation. An ideal guest house or private retreat, the project is available with six unique finishes to suit individual styles, including aluminum, ivory, sand, graphite, anthracite, and onyx.
