There are plenty of landmarks to visit around the globe, but one of the most extraordinary sites is 2.5 miles underwater. OceanGate Expeditions offers the chance to explore the wreckage of the RMS Titanic and become one of the very few to see it with their own eyes. The 8-day expedition takes off from Canada’s Atlantic coast and travels 380 miles offshore to the Titanic’s resting place. After learning the ropes onboard, Mission Specialists will climb into the world’s largest deep-diving submersible, Titan, and descend 3,800 meters to the iconic wreck. The submersible has the largest viewport of any deep-diving sub and an array of high-definition cameras. You will see alien-like creatures roaming the deep as you descend to the ocean floor before seeing the stunning wreck emerge from the darkness. A limited number of openings remain for Mission Specialists to join the 2022 Titanic Expedition, and spots are already filling for 2023.
