SPACE PERSPECTIVE SPACESHIP NEPTUNE BALLOON

Space Perspective unveiled the Spaceship Neptune Space Balloon in 2020. Now preparing for its maiden voyage in 2024, they’ve unveiled the climate-controlled, pressurized cabin’s interior. It accommodates up to eight guests in plush reclining seats, with patented 360-degree panoramic windows that will be the largest ever flown to space. As if the views of the sunrise, space, and Earth itself weren’t enough entertainment, the capsule will also house a a refreshments bar, which like the rest of it is made using dark and tactile materials to reduce glare and reflections. Wi-Fi will also be available throughout the six-hour journey, which includes a 12mph ascent from the Kennedy Space Center, two hours at the edge of space, and a gradual descent that culminates in a gentle splashdown in the ocean. All flights for 2024 have already been sold out, but the company is accepting reservations for future explorations.
