Every year, over half a million people trek up the Andes Mountains to visit Machu Picchu, but few have experienced the ancient city quite like this. At the StarDome Peru, tourists can sleep among the ruins in a personal geodesic dome. The transparent pod is nestled in the Sacred Valley, overlooking Machu Picchu and the mountains in the distance during the day, and highlighting the stars above at night. To fully immerse tourists in the setting, cultural experiences are available and led by local Quechua people. The retreat offers four different suite options and three packages ranging from three to six days.
