NORDLYS CABINS

Sited on 140 acres in Northern Wisconsin, the Nordlys Cabins offer Pacific Northwest aesthetics in the rural Midwest. The property’s first retreat is the MetalLark Tower, a two-story cabin suspended in the treetops. Its glass, steel, and wood facade conceals 800-square-feet of living space for up to four guests and includes a bedroom on the lower level and an open-plan kitchen and lounge area above. The interior pays tribute to the ower’s Scandinavian roots with an emphasis on simplicity and a selection of modern furnishings, while floor to ceiling glazing immerses both levels in views of the lake, forest, and wildflower meadow. A second cabin, situated on the banks of the property’s 2,000-foot-long pond, is expected to open next year.
